HIGHNESS HUMANITY EXAMINES THE ARTS
In the upcoming months, Highness will be building out Highness Humanity to focus on social innovation and social impact, in addition to its existing philanthropic portfolio that focusses on poverty and the environment. In particular, Highness will be directing its attention to the art industry as it will aim to deconstruct and reformulate arts-based business models, frameworks and traditional working relationships. Highness Humanity will interweave with Highness Embassy clients as the firm explores how rethinking of existing arts-based business models can appropriately support artists, increase the client-base for their work and better use their transferable skill-set. The goal is to build artist-run businesses who are then in the position to support their own social impact and social innovation interests. Amana Manori, CEO of Highness, notes that the ultimate goal is for Highness Humanity to be a stand-alone foundation.
